YOUTH CONNECTIONS MENTORING PROGRAM
Make a Difference Today
The Youth Connections Mentoring Program’s mission is to enhance the lives of children through mentoring by facilitated one-to-one relationships. To achieve this mission we match carefully screened and trained mentors with children 5-16 years of age, we match elementary students with high school students who are able to spend the lunch-hour with their elementary buddies on a weekly basis, and we are the coordinators for Toys for Tots in Madison and Beaverhead County.
For the lunch buddy program we pay for the high schoolers lunch when they come in to spend the lunch hour with the elementary students. With the Lunch Buddy Program we also offer a scholarship for high school seniors who participate in the program.
The polar dip is one of our big fundraisers that we do every year. At this event people who participate get sponsors to pledge their jump and then jump into a frozen lake. Are you ready to take the plunge?
GIVING TREE PARTNERSHIP
Due to COVID-19 and other factors, the Dillon Youth Connections Mentoring Program is proud to announce our partnering with the Giving Tree for this year's Toy Distribution. Partnering with the Giving Tree will provide a means for safe delivery, along with a lower overhead so that we can supplement additional toys with what our generous community is already contributing.
