Eminem - Beautiful (Lyrics)

It seems there are a few possible interpretations here - mostly about how we're stuck with what we've got (our lives personalities, etc) and we've got to deal with that - positively even. He's also saying we're all worth something, despite our 'bullshit hands' we're all beautiful. Pretty much whatever life throws at you, don't give up or change for anyone - like he did when he was a kid - trying to impress them by sticking his tongue to....a stop sign? I can't remember. Secondly, he's shot up from a poor nobody with a fucked up life, to this amazing famous person with a million people kissing his ass - he can't trust or ever be on his own - and he wants us to understand that. Maybe that his life still isn't great, he wants us to 'feel [his] pain' and understand that everyone's got issues. His upbringing was clearly shit, but he knows he's got to get out of it - deal with what God gave him and appreciate it even. Finally, he's clearly going through a pretty tough time, I know nothing about his life but he says he's 'so fucking depressed' and trying to get out of a slump. But he's trying you know? And knows that he isn't alone with problems, and that we should all 'be proud of who [we] are' and let the hater go fuck themselves.

I think Eminem is expressing that everyone has their problems and being famous has it's downfalls. Life is not that it seems to be. It tears you down to nothing, but Eminem talks about building himself up no matter how many times he has to fall. When he sings about "don't let them say you ain't beautiful" he is talking about how life has those people who are going to hate on you and beat you down, but all you have to do is use all that hate and use it as a fuel to make your life better.

This is probably one of the songs I've listened to the most in my life. Basically it's about depression. In the song, it gives you just a bit of all the things he's had to put up with in his life. I guess you can say he's saying to find that spark of hope, "Don't let em say you ain't beautiful. Just stay true to you." & "To my babies, stay strong. Daddy will be home soon. Too the rest of the world, God gave them shoes to fit you. Put em on and wear em."
